About the designer

THE BEGINNING

Tasia Vasilikou is the designer and creative voice behind TASIA. Before establishing her own house, she developed her experience at APM Monaco, gaining an intimate understanding of contemporary jewelry, craftsmanship, and the relationship between design and the body.

Her work is guided by the Mediterranean—not simply as a place, but as a feeling of openness, movement, and freedom. She draws inspiration from sun-worn architecture, stones shaped by water, ancient objects, and the effortless way jewelry becomes part of daily life.

Through TASIA, she creates pieces that feel discovered rather than defined—jewelry made to be worn instinctively, carried through life, and made personal over time.

The inspiration

For Tasia Vasilikou, inspiration begins with color—the saturated blue of open water, sun-warmed gold, mineral green, coral red, and the soft chalk tones of weathered stone.

She is drawn to the way these colors exist naturally alongside one another: vivid yet effortless, shaped by light, landscape, and centuries of daily life. A painted doorway, a fragment of mosaic, the curve of a vessel, or sunlight moving across the sea may each become the beginning of a piece.

Her work explores the contrasts found within this world—the raw and the refined, strength and delicacy, permanence and change. Rather than recreating the past, Tasia gathers its textures, proportions, symbols, and colors, translating them through a contemporary perspective.

The result is jewelry with a sense of freedom and vitality—expressive pieces created to move, gather memories, and become deeply personal to the wearer.

THE PHILOSOPHY

Tasia believes jewelry should express something personal rather than prescribe how it must be worn.

A piece should invite freedom—to be layered or worn alone, saved for an occasion or made part of every day. Its meaning is not fixed at the moment it is created, but develops through the experiences, places, and memories of the person who wears it.

Perfection is never the objective. Tasia is drawn instead to individuality: the natural markings within a stone, the subtle irregularity of a handcrafted detail, and the unexpected relationships between color, texture, and proportion.

Her jewelry is designed to hold presence without overpowering the wearer. Distinctive yet effortless, each piece leaves space for personal interpretation.

Because jewelry should not define the person wearing it. It should give them another way to define themselves.
